Starting on 15 October, the courses in Data Science and AI, Cyber Security, and Software Engineering are designed to equip mid-career professionals with industry-relevant skills and provide ongoing career support for job placement.
IoD’s CEO, Peter Harpur, noted the urgent need for skilled professionals in these fields, highlighting that IoD graduates are job-ready and often secure employment faster than other candidates.
Professor Michael Grimley, Dean of Future Learning and Development at UC, says the partnership is exciting and demonstrates the University’s commitment to work-ready, industry-led learning. “These industry training programmes complement our existing flexible learning options as well as enhance our ability to support businesses in upskilling their staff."
The partnership aims to support both IT and non-IT professionals looking to transition into technology careers.
