Supporting women in tech through new scholarship
Our team are celebrating International Women in Engineering Day with a new Women in Tech scholarship!

This International Women in Engineering Day, we're excited to be sharing our Women in Tech Scholarship. This new initiative is designed to help address the underrepresentation of women in the technology sector, particularly in senior and leadership positions.
"Diversity is the engine of innovation," says UC's Director of Engineering and Management Programmes, Dr Lulu Barry. "For too long, talented wāhine have faced barriers to entering and thriving in tech."
"This scholarship is a practical step toward creating a more inclusive industry where everyone has the opportunity to contribute and succeed."
The scholarship will cover up to 75% of tuition fees for women enrolling in approved online technology programmes. These include the Master of Engineering Management, Master or Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Data Science, or Postgraduate Certificate in Cyber Security.
